A new endeavor

Hello all my blog readers!!! I would like to share with you a new endeavor I am about to begin. I am in the process of getting things together to start offering my singing ability to newly engaged men and women. What I am really saying is, I want to be a wedding singer!!! Ok, insert
your own jokes here about a certain Adam Sandler movie!!! ;O)
But seriously, this is something that I have been thinking about for a long time. I have been singing since I was about 8 years old and I have sung at several weddings throughout my high school and college years. I have also sung at practically all of my friends weddings, my brothers wedding, and even complete strangers' weddings when they have received my name from people that have heard me sing. I have always enjoyed singing at peoples weddings but I never really understood why until I got married myself. Because I am a musician, the music at our wedding was especially important to me. When Jason asked me to marry him, I immediately started planning the wedding of my dreams and one of the most important parts of the ceremony was the music. I had such big plans for the music. I asked for favors from friends, and several people that I had done shows with in college,to help make my day special by them singing or playing. Things were going so good. I had a piano player, violin player, and two vocalists, but when Jason and I stood at the alter on that November evening, we only had a piano player and one vocalist. Throughout the planning of the wedding the music fell apart. I lost one vocalist and my violin player, and it was totally devastating. I had this day planned down to the minute ,but when that all happened it was terrible. Our wedding was still beautiful, but there was an element missing for me. So why I have decided to start doing this is because I want to be a part of making someones day special. I know how stressful this day can be and I want to make is easier for them. God gave me this talent ,and I am happy that I can use it to help make someones wedding day perfect for them.
So if you know of any brides-and-grooms-to-be that are looking for someone to sing for their wedding, I would be more than happy to give them some information about myself and the services that I offer.

xoxo,
Andi

I wish you lived closer, or I'd put you on my recommendations list, girl! You should sing with a back-up band. Those are always a blast! (Yeah, by the way, this is your cousin, Jamie!)
